Bienvenidos Children’s center (BCC) is a private, non-profit California public benefits charity that was incorporated in Los Angeles in 1986. The headquarters are located in Altadena, CA.
Bienvenidos’ vision is of a world of tomorrow where families flourish and children thrive. Their mission as a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for vulnerable and families by delivering services that are comprehensive, culturally responsive and effective models of prevention and intervention.
BCC has three operating divisions:
1. Family Services – responsible for therapeutic, comprehensive assistance and family strengthening.
2. Foster Family Agency – licensed to provide short-term emergency and therapeutic foster care to children and siblings who cannot immediately return home to their birth families
3. Mental Health Division – provides early childhood, therapeutic, outpatient mental health services for children and their families at six service sites.
Bienvenidos has offered a continuum of services that include prevention and intervention services, health services, mental health and foster and shelter care.
